You've come to the right place!! :) "Dougie's Place" is more like a home than a hostel. It has welcomed travellers from all over the world since starting up in 1997. It offers affordable accommodation with private or shared rooms and common living facilities. A fully equipped kitchen, TV room and dining rooms provide a chance to socialise with other guests and share travel stories.
A gas BBQ is also available to continue those chats over charred chops! The bedrooms and bathrooms are all upstairs, so please take this into consideration when booking. There are four bedrooms in total that can accommodate up to 10 people in total. Three of the bedrooms have 2 single beds in each and a share bathroom and separate toilet. The fourth bedroom can sleep 4 people and has its own ensuite bathroom. This is a popular choice for families.
Backpackers are welcome and we've had many stay to do their "88 Days Farm Work" in the nearby nurseries and tree farms. They often stay longer, because they love it and consider it home.
