Gembrook Craft Group Cottage Craft Group members at the cottage with their finished macrame projects

If you are a lover of the lost arts, especially, sewing, knitting, spinning, felting and crochet, you won’t want to miss visiting the Gembrook Craft Group at various markets.

The Gembrook Craft Group is located at 3 Redwood Road and is a non-profit organisation. Our aim is to keep alive the various fibre crafts.

If you are a lover of the lost fibre crafts, (skills for self-sufficient living that have been forgotten or replaced by modern technology) especially, sewing, knitting, spinning, felting and crotchet, you won’t want to miss visiting the Gembrook Craft Group at the Cottage where we meet regularly to share/teach our craft skills or visit us at the Cockatoo and Gembrook markets.

The Cottage is full of colour and you can’t help but feel the warmth and love that has gone into every piece created. everything from felted scarves and hats, beanies, rugs, baby wear, toddler wear, booties, socks, tea cosies, ladies knitwear, aprons, spun wool, cards, knitted & stuffed dolls, ornaments, felted toys, handmade bags, scrunchies, jewellery, hand turned biros to men's beanies, scarves & items for the kitchen all of which are sold at markets. We even have the old fashioned Lucky Dips for children.

From time to time we hold various workshops at the cottage so check our Facebook page for details. We also meet regularly (most Monday Nights 7-9pm) at the cottage for social activities and welcome new members.
